Devils Lake, WI and Lodging
Located in Baraboo just outside the Wisconsin Dells, Devil’s Lake State Park is a true diamond in the rough for the Midwest; especially for rock climbing. The stunning 500-foot high quartzite bluffs that surround Devil’s Lake are like nothing else to be found anywhere else in the Midwest and have been attracting climbers from across the country for decades. Many routes in the park have even been established and named for famous climbers of the 60’s and 70’s. Devil’s Lake is a great place for anyone from a beginner who has never climbed to the most advanced climber to spend the day learning new skills with one of our guides. With over 1600 established rock climbing routes throughout the park there is something to climb for everyone. AIC’s guides know the routes with the best views of Devil’s Lake and the surrounding Baraboo hills, so you’re sure to end up with your breath taken away at some point. At the end of the day you can enjoy swimming, fishing, and non-motorized boating on the Devil’s Lake to relax and enjoy even more of the picturesque park.
UPDATE: We are open and taking out trips with NO restrictions on group size, distancing, or who is in our group. Friends are fine and large groups are fine. All of our usual safety practices will still be implemented and you can count on us having your safety and satisfaction foremost in our minds!
